Lauren Lauth is a Detroit-based artist specializing in background design for 2D animation and visual development. She is a 2022 graduate of the College for Creative Studies with a BFA in Illustration. Her work is inspired by 2000s cartoons, Nintendo, slice-of-life anime, and cute aesthetics. Her passion lies in creating vibrant, colorful and visually appealing worlds that tell captivating, relatable stories that evoke strong emotions. When she isn't drawing, Lauren enjoys competitive swimming, plein-air painting, spending time with her cats, and finding the best sushi restaurants.
